RentiCar

Why RentiCar

Why people rent from RentiCar

We started with four cars and a Tbilisi courtyard in 2018. The rules we set then still run the company.

01

The price on the card is the price you pay

No airport surcharge, no cleaning fee, no 'young driver' markup, no insurance upsell at handover. If it isn't on the card, we don't charge it.

02

Deposits that actually come back

Most of our fleet goes out with no deposit. Where we do take one, it is returned within three working days — and we photograph the car with you at both ends so there is nothing to argue about.

03

Cars that survive Georgian roads

Every car is serviced every 8,000 km, not every 15,000. SUVs get all-terrain tyres in winter. Nothing in the fleet is older than seven years.

04

Someone picks up the phone

A flat tyre outside Stepantsminda at 2am is our problem, not yours. Roadside assistance covers the whole country and a replacement car reaches you within four hours.

Landed in Kutaisi at 1am and the car was already waiting at arrivals. Handover took eight minutes, no deposit, no upsell. Drove it to Mestia and back with zero drama.

Rented an SUV for ten days in April. Winter tyres were still on, which mattered on the Gudauri pass. The price on the website was exactly what I paid.

We hit a pothole outside Sighnaghi and shredded a tyre. One call, a van showed up in under three hours, wheel replaced on the spot, nothing charged.

Needed cross-border papers for Armenia. Told them at booking, everything was ready at handover. The border guards had no questions at all.

Three weeks, two cities, one convertible. They let me pick up in Tbilisi and drop off in Batumi without charging a relocation fee.

Fourth time renting here. Cars are always clean, always full of fuel, and the same people answer the phone. That consistency is why I stopped shopping around.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

What do I need to rent a car?

A driving licence held for at least 2 years, a passport or ID, and an age of 21 or over. International licences are accepted as-is — no translation needed for most countries.

Is there a deposit?

Economy and standard cars go out with no deposit at all. For SUV, lux and convertible classes the deposit is shown on each card and is returned in full within 3 days of handback.

Can I drive to Armenia or Turkey?

Yes, with cross-border insurance arranged in advance — tell us at booking and we prepare the paperwork. Travel to Abkhazia and South Ossetia is not permitted.

What about mountain roads?

SUVs in our fleet are 4WD and shod with all-terrain tyres from October to April. Gudauri, Kazbegi and Bakuriani are all fair game.

How does cancellation work?

Free until 24 hours before pick-up. Later than that we keep one day's rate; no-show is charged as one day.

Is fuel included?

You get the car with a full tank and return it full. There is no service fee for refuelling if you bring it back topped up.
