1. Who may rent
The driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least two years. Licences issued in any country that is party to the Vienna or Geneva conventions are accepted without translation. A passport or Georgian ID is required at handover. Additional drivers must be present and meet the same conditions; there is no charge for a second driver.
2. Booking and payment
Bookings are free and require no card details. Payment is taken at handover by card or in cash, in Georgian lari. The daily rate shown on the car's page is final and includes VAT, insurance and unlimited mileage within Georgia. Rental days are counted in 24-hour periods from the handover time; an overrun of up to two hours is not charged, beyond that a further day applies.
3. Deposit
Economy and standard class cars require no deposit. For SUV, lux, convertible and van classes the deposit is stated on the car's page and is taken at handover by card pre-authorisation or in cash. It is released in full within three working days of return, less any documented damage or unpaid fines.
4. Cancellation
Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed pick-up time. Within 24 hours, one day's rate is retained. If the car is not collected and no contact is made within three hours of the agreed time, the booking is released and one day's rate is charged.
5. Insurance and liability
Every rental includes CASCO and third-party liability cover. The renter's liability is limited to the deposit amount for damage caused during ordinary use. Cover does not apply to damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, while off public roads, during unauthorised competitive events, or by a driver not named on the agreement. Tyres, wheels, glass and the underbody are covered on SUV class and above.
6. Use of the vehicle
The car may be driven anywhere in Georgia on public roads. Travel to Armenia, Azerbaijan and Turkey is permitted with cross-border insurance arranged at least 24 hours in advance. Entry into the occupied territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia is prohibited and voids all cover. Smoking inside the car incurs a ₾150 cleaning charge. Transporting animals is allowed in a carrier.
7. Fuel, fines and tolls
The car is handed over with a full tank and must be returned full; otherwise fuel is charged at the pump price plus a ₾20 service fee. Traffic fines incurred during the rental remain the renter's responsibility and are passed on at cost, with the notice attached, for up to 30 days after return.
8. Breakdown and accidents
In the event of a breakdown, call +995 555 99 57 99 before arranging any repair. Roadside assistance covers the whole of Georgia. In an accident, call 112 first, then us; do not move the vehicle before the police report is made unless it is unsafe to remain. A replacement car is provided within four hours anywhere in the country.
9. Data
We store the name, phone number, email address and licence details needed to perform the rental, and keep them for the period required by Georgian tax law. We do not sell data or share it with third parties beyond our insurer and, where legally required, the authorities.
